The Double Room with Private Bathroom impressed with its cleanliness and modern decor, including a lovely large bay window. The communal lounge area provided a nice touch, stocked with brochures and books, alongside a well-appointed fridge for guest snacks.
Lack of secure bike storage options, with hooks too small for locks, made it inconvenient for touring cyclists. Breakfast must be ordered the day before, limiting spontaneity in morning choices. Wifi connection was unreliable at times, making it difficult to plan activities.

Great vibes in Lynton! 🌿
The brekkie was a highlight—lekker variety, especially the fruit salad! The hosts were super friendly and gave us good local tips. Our room was cozy and quiet, perfect for a good night’s sleep after a busy day exploring!
The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but it was clean enough.

absolutely not what i expected. the sheer lack of secure bike storage was infuriating, as were the shockingly small hooks that couldn't even fit my locks. woudl ve been nice to recieve a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. also, breakfast had to be ordered a day in advance, limiting those spontaneous cravings. what a letdown!

great hosts but room could use more decor
Penny and Drew are exceptionally warm and inviting hosts. The breakfast selection was impressive with varied options, including a delightful fruit salad that started the day right. The cleanliness of the guest house was remarkable, creating a welcoming environment.
Room decor felt somewhat minimal and could benefit from a few personal touches.
